Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree This Year

Thank you to The Broke and The Bookish for this wonderful meme! If you want to learn how to participate, click here and check it out. Promise you won’t regret it.

I know Veronica and I did a Talking Bookworm Holiday Gift Guide. BUT! There are books I would love for Santa to leave me…

Liz’s Picks

The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1)

The Wrath & The Dawn. You know my appreciation of a good series… I’m sure Santa does too.

Alexander Hamilton

While it’s not YA, I am obsessed with the Hamilton Musical so OBVIOUSLY I need the biography the musical is based on. Santa baby, won’t you leave Hamilton under the tree for me?

A Madness So Discreet

A Madness So Discreet. Who can’t resist a good YA Historical thriller? Hopefully Santa. Hehe.

99 Days

99 Days. I’ve always been a sucker for love stories… Maybe Santa is too?

Legend (Legend, #1)

Legend. While I’ve read her other series… I’ve neglected this series. Santa don’t let me neglect it no more.

Nightfall

Nightfall. Seems an odd season to be asking Santa to bring me horror/thriller books… maybe I should be asking Krampus for this one?

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)

Throne of Glass. Ugh princes, thieves, warriors, killers, oh my! Hopefully Santa appreciates the magic this book would be bring me… And brings all the follow up books in this series too.

An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1)

An Ember in the Ashes. This has been everywhere and so I feel like the universe is telling me I need to read it. *sings* Oh Santa!

The Talking Bookworm Holiday Gift Guide

My parent’s have been bugging me recently about what I want from Santa. The obvious answer is books. Lots and lots of books.  Cause what do I do? I read… a lot. So I thought  others might be able to use book recommendations for the biblophiles in their lives. Below is mine and Veronica’s Holiday Gift Guide.

Liz’s Holiday Gift Guide

I am a lover of fantasy, paranormal, romance, young adult combination novels. I also love series books. The books below are all those things and more. There are angels, magic, fairy-tale re-tellings, love, heartbreak, heists, and more. These are all the first novels in their series, with the exception of Scarlet– it’s my favorite out of the four novels in The Lunar Chronicles series.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)  A Matter of Fate (Fate, #1) Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)

Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2) Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle, #1)

Veronica’s Holiday Gift Guide

My list is going to be very different from Liz because I am a huge fan of realistic young adult fiction. While my family does not celebrate Christmas, we do give each other gifts on new year’s. Here is my list of what you should give the bibliophile in your life [if they have not read them, of course!]:
